Sargeant Oni, reporting for duty...

Ok, so, DOOM, in all forms, rocks. Yes, even the movie(even though it had nothing to do with the games ><) Though, I thought that the movie did justice to the name. I've read the interviews and such, and J. Carmack said that he wanted the movie this way, so that both people who'd played the games and people who had no fraggin' clue what the game was would enjoy it.

Well, marines, it seems we've all earned a little down time. But, don't get too comfortable. If I know the U.A.C., I'm willing to bet that some other moron like Betruger will try to open that damned gate again.

Just be sure to keep you pistol at your side, and have a firm grip on that shotgun. Lock and load, soldiers.

Sgt. Oni, over and out.

I thought it was okay for a 'zombie movie'. It's not really doom because they changed the horror to sci-fi, making the monsters 'mutants' instead of 'demons'. Doom the games had sci-fi-ish elements but I always thought the most original ascept of the story was that your enemies really were from hell after all. And it's not much of a story to begin with, but they set even that aside.

I think it's a decent okay movie if you think of it as 'zombie mutants from space' rather than doom. They could have called it Half-Life..

Little? Fanboy?! Are you a moron? I've played ever DOOM game possible, save Resurrection of Evil. You know, when I read your previous posts, I didn't think you were that bad of a guy. But, now, I think you're just an idiot. See, it's people like you who compare the movies directly to the game. "Oh my God, it's not exactly like the game, so, it must be bad!" You're just upset because the main character doesn't die 25 times in the first 10 minutes of it, like you did. Did you ever think of, I dunno... Just watching the damn movie to watch a movie? Is that a hard concept for you? It's a movie, not a game. The main character doesn't die. The story is different. There are no levels. GET THE FUCK OVER IT!

I worked at a videostore throughout high school. i've watched plenty of movies to watch movies. however, i don't want to see some bitch try and take a completely unrelated story and call it Doom so he could cash in on it. If it wasn't called Doom, you never would of thought of it as a the movie to the game. If you are a omfg biggest doom fan evar, why haven't you played resurrection of evil? shit son, i had it cleared on nightmare before it was a week old.

and for the record, i think i died less than 25 times during the whole nightmare experience.

A movie that was made to cash in? That's unpossible! Never heard of that before!
